For painters Maddine Insalaco and Joe Vinson art and food have always been intimately connected. They founded Etruscan Places in 1995 to offer landscape painting workshops first in Tuscany and later in Civita Castellana. The success of their plein air lunches coupled with their residence in one of Italy’s most important gastronomic areas led them to create Tuscan Epicure and launch the first White Truffle and Brunello Tour in 2005.
